Two weeks ago, I got a little sick.  I started feeling badly on Sunday, so to console myself I went to the park to do some reading and feed the ducks.  I sped up the video a bit since it took me about ten minutes to stand there and toss all my old bread in…it’s nothing too exciting, but this is what some of my days look like.

The night before Carlee’s graduation, Jonathan got in on a train at about three in the morning, so Dad and I went to Hutch to go and pick him up.  It was an experience I’ve never had before, albeit very very early…or very very late.  Glad he could make it in!

My grandpa made me a hope chest several years ago and it’s followed me almost everywhere I’ve lived.  In the last few years, I’ve managed to stuff it pretty full (much to everyone’s dismay when they help me transport it during my many moves).  So here’s a (long, somewhat boring) look at what’s inside of the mysterious trunk in the middle of my living room.

Lunch date with one of my amazing friends!  Lis Shaw and I met at Main Street Deli for a little good conversation and much-needed girl time 🙂

Summer means a lot of things…lemonade, swimming, going to the lake, barbecues, etc…all of these things I love.  But summer also brings softball!  It’s one thing that Ashlee and I look forward to each week, even though we don’t know all the rules.  We ask almost every game about the same rules and guidelines.  So we were pretty stoked for the first game of the season.  Unfortunately it was about fifty degrees…but we still had fun rooting for Nathan and Kaysie!

Only 100 days left on the Flip Project now!  And the video to mark this occasion is the End of Year Barbecue for Christian Challenge and it was sure a chilly one!  The food looked fantastic and everyone had a good time, regardless of the cold.
